Axis q7424-r is a high-performance 1-4 channel independent solution, which enables analog cameras to be flexibly migrated to the IP based video monitoring system under severe conditions. Axis q7424-r has a robust design and more optimized ability to withstand vibration, shock and extreme temperature.
Reduced bandwidth and storage requirements
Axis q7424-r can provide efficient H.264 video compression, which can significantly reduce bandwidth and storage requirements without reducing image quality. The product also supports motion JPEG for increased flexibility.
Powerful and complete

Axis q7424-r supports all types of analog cameras with built-in RS-422 and RS-485 serial ports, including PTZ (Pan / tilt / zoom) and PTZ hemispheres. The video encoder also includes marginal storage through a built-in SD / SDHC memory card slot.
Flexible network interface
Axis q7424-r has an optional fiber-optic connection to the SFP slot, providing the flexibility to connect video encoders over long distances to the network in a cost-effective manner.
