Axis Poe separator
Resolver or active resolver enables existing networks to support Poe. It divides the power and data in the Ethernet cable into two separate cables, which can then be connected to devices without Poe built-in support. Since the 802.3af standard only provides 48 V DC, another function of the resolver is to reduce the voltage to the appropriate level of the equipment, usually 12V or 5V.
