Bosch LBC 3437 / 00 and LBC 3438 / 00 horn loudspeakers are specially designed and certified for installation in environments where explosive gas mixtures may exist. They can be used in any gas mixing environment, including hydrogen. System overview the rated power of LBC 3437 / 00 is 15 W and that of LBC 3438 / 00 is 25 W.
basic function
Both loudspeakers are made of UV resistant glass reinforced polyester (GRP) with flame path, bell mouth and body. This robust fire and corrosion resistant material provides higher reliability and reduces maintenance costs. In addition, GRP has excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability, which makes it easy to deal with various applications including the worst environment. These two horn loudspeakers can be used all day long. They are equipped with stainless steel mounting bracket, captive cover screw and stainless steel welding, which further improves the corrosion resistance. An eexdiic sealing plug is provided as standard.
Certificate and recognition
All Bosch loudspeakers comply with IEC 268-5 power handling capacity (PHC) standard and can operate continuously for 100 hours at rated power. In addition, Bosch has conducted simulated acoustic feedback exposure (SAFE) tests to ensure that they can withstand twice the rated power in a short period of time.
