Axis FA series is a series of affordable high-performance module cameras, which can be used for multi view monitoring, allowing you to use an IP address to covertly monitor four similar indoor areas. Ideal for use in stores, banks, offices and airports.
The series includes a 4-channel mainframe and two sensor units (one with standard lens and the other with zoom lens). The host can be connected to four sensor units and has a powerful processor, which can synchronously stream the full frame rate HDTV 1080p video on all four sensor units. At the same time, it supports wide dynamic range (WDR), zipstream, analysis, HDMI connection, audio, I / O port and local storage. An axis FA series system can reduce the total cost.
The series comprises one four-channel main unit and two sensor units (one with a standard lens; the other, a varifocal lens).
The main unit can connect to four sensor units and has a powerful processor that can stream full frame rate HDTV 1080p videos from all four sensor units simultaneously.

Concealed and flexible

Like all modular camera systems, axis FA series is extremely invisible and flexible. It is based on the concept of subdivision network camera, in which the camera is divided into sensor unit (including lens and image sensor) and host (camera body). The unit is connected by a cable that supplies power to the sensor unit.
Thumb sized sensor units can be concealed at the horizon or in the required compact location. The long cable from the sensor unit to the host allows you to place the host in the gap flexibly.
For the axis FA series, the host and sensor units are sold separately, so you can choose the most suitable sensor unit for your application. Note that the host and sensor units in the axis FA series must not be used in conjunction with the host and sensor units in the axis F series.

An axis FA series system can stream full frame HDTV 1080p video, so you will not miss any details or actions. It also always supports axis WDR wide dynamic shadow hunting technology. WDR wide dynamic shadow hunting technology in axis FA series will give priority to dark areas in scenes with high contrast lighting, such as the backlight scene of people standing in front of a very bright background. In this kind of scene, the traditional camera which does not support wide dynamic range can shoot a darker human image; while axis FA which supports WDR wide dynamic shadow hunting technology can make the color and details in the darker area more visible. WDR technology in axis FA series is also optimized for movement, so there is no moving artifact when fast moving objects pass through. In low light scenes, axis FA series system can provide excellent color video with low noise.

Axis FA series systems with four HDTV 1080p sensor units typically cost less than four standard HDTV 1080p cameras with similar features. If only one Ethernet cable is used for four sensor units, you can reduce the requirements of your network port and save the cost of network switch.
