Snc-hm662 IP webcam provides uninterrupted 360 degree hemispherical field of view. It is an ideal "overview camera" solution that can be used to closely monitor a wide range of indoor and outdoor environments - from halls, waiting rooms and retail spaces to parking lots, campuses and commercial buildings.

Although ordinary fisheye lenses are often used for 360 degree wide-angle coverage, the image quality at the edge of the image is seriously degraded. Snc-hm662 adopts a completely different method. It uses the unique panomorph lens of immervision to take a real hemispherical view without any blind spots. The video clip captured by the 5 megapixel imager has a frame rate of up to 13 FPS, and the picture edge can also be kept clear and detailed.

The resulting 360 degree image can be automatically "restored" to provide a clear and distortion free view through Sony web browser client or VMS (video management software) client application. Electronic pan / pitch / Zoom (eptz) supports fast navigation to any part of the camera's field of view for close observation.

Client applications provide multiple view modes. It includes the original 360 degree hemispherical view of the camera and multiple synchronous views generated from the same hemispherical image (including 180 degree panoramic view, four view and 9-way split screen view).

Even when the client watches a part of the scene in close range, the camera can continue to stream the whole image to this recording platform. After recording, you can recheck the clip of the whole area. The operator can also play the clip flexibly, just like viewing in real time, so as to zoom in on any part of the 360 degree scene for careful viewing.

Other improvements provided by snc-hm662 include recording two-way audio through a built-in microphone. Power over Ethernet (POE) helps simplify installation, while edge storage supports "no network" recording to removable memory cards. Snc-hm662 can operate in a wide temperature range from - 30 ° C to + 50 ° C. It also has IP66 and ik10 waterproof and impact resistance grades, which makes it especially suitable for outdoor applications.
