The AXIS m1031-w webcam is ideal for securing sites such as small businesses, boutiques, restaurants and hotels. The camera also provides wireless (IEEE 802.11g) and wired network connections for flexible installation. It has a VGA resolution of 30 frames per second and has the best video quality of its kind.
Intrusion alarm function
AXIS m1031-w integrates passive infrared (PIR) sensors for motion detection - even in the dark. It includes a white LED for on-site lighting in case of an accident or user's request. It also provides two-way audio communication with integrated microphones and speakers, enabling remote listening and direct communication with individuals, or using recorded audio clips.
High performance compression and video streaming
AXIS m1031-w provides multiple independently configurable video streams in h.264 and Motion JPEG and mpeg-4 Part 2. Full frame rate and resolution are provided in each compression. H.264 compression achieves bandwidth optimization and storage efficiency by greatly reducing bit rate.
