The AXIS F44 Main unit
Flexible installation
The AXIS F44 host supports up to four AXIS F sensor units capable of monitoring four adjacent areas. The main part can be installed 12 meters (39 feet) from the sensing part.
The masking area. Sensors can be installed in small areas of indoor and outdoor space. The solution is ideal for stores, atms, emergency vehicles, buses and trams.
Covering four regions, it is economical and efficient
AXIS F44 provides a simple and cost-effective multi-screen monitoring solution that streams images from four different regions simultaneously over an Ethernet port. The total installation cost of AXIS F44, four sensor components, and other system components may be lower than that of a system that includes four comparable standard network cameras.
For example, network switches may be cheaper because they reduce the number of ports required. If the video management software (VMS) sees AXIS F44 as requiring a license rather than four, the VMS license fee can also be reduced. Overall installation and placement of these components may also be easier and more flexible than traditional camera solutions. In addition, the versatile AXIS F44 supports two full-size SD card slots for storing recorded content locally, thus bringing a high-performance stand-alone solution.
Two capture modes
AXIS F44 supports two different shooting modes. The 1080p capture mode can simultaneously process four independent 1080p video streams at a rate of 12.5/15 frames per second (50/60 Hz) and provide all-round monitoring through the 1080p image sensor of the AXIS F sensor unit.
720 p capture mode can cut the picture in the form of under full frame rate for the four 720 p HDTV video stream processing (horizontal Angle is smaller than 1080 p resolution mode about 35% to 35%, depending on the sensor unit).
AXIS F44 also supports a single video stream in the form of a four-segment screen, which consists of four separate images from a connected sensor unit. AXIS F44, together with the AXIS F sensor unit, can provide color video under the low light condition of 0.3 lux.

Forensic Capture technology
AXIS F44's 720p Capture mode provides "Forensic Capture" on all four channels. Forensic Capture
The function is activated when connected to the AXIS F sensor unit that supports this function. <> USES "Forensic Capture" to make highly detailed images of extremely bright and dark areas of the scene. This technology is very suitable for the scene in which the object appears dark due to the bright background, such as the entrance or the front of ATM. Or a nighttime solution, in which cameras must simultaneously handle low-light environments and bright lights from vehicles, street lights, signboards and stores.
AXIS F44 perfectly matches AXIS F sensor unit and provides color video under low illumination conditions of 0.3 lux.
Zipstream
Reducing the bit rate with Axis Zipstream
AXIS F44 supports amex Zipstream technology to realize more efficient implementation of h. 264 video encoder. It is suitable for a variety of monitoring scenarios and can reduce bandwidth and storage requirements by more than 50% on average. In addition, it ensures that important details are retained when removing unnecessary data.

Strong design and easy installation
